Understanding that buying pre-owned luxury online is a nervous experience, we at Boutique Patina want to make it as easy as possible to accept returns for pre-owned Chanel and other items. Because AmEx does not refund the 3.5% processing fee upon our issuing of refunds for customer returns and order cancellations, we are no longer accepting AmEx payments using the direct credit card payment method. 

However, our customers can still pay with their American Express on our site through PayPal, our payment partner. 

Here are two ways you can pay with AmEx on our site:

1) Have a PayPal account? Close this tab to go back to the cart, proceed to checkout, select the PayPal option instead of Credit Card, and pay with your AmEx through PayPal (this is the easiest way). 

2) Contact us and we can send you a link to an online checkout interface to pay with your AmEx. You will not be required to create a PayPal account to use your AmEx. Once you submit your payment, your item will be marked as Sold by us. (For international shipments or overnight shipments, please add $40 to the total, since shipping for these is $65).

Otherwise, we gladly accept all other major credit cards on our site directly - VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and other forms of payment as well.
